OUR ETHICAL COMMITMENTS
We take great pride in having most of our pieces hand-forged by our team of goldsmiths here in Vancouver. Each piece is uniquely made for you. All of the stones we use are ethically sourced and conflict free. Our pieces are made of ethically-mined gemstones most of it is recycled gold. We select our diamonds and gemstones very carefully. Our expertise from nearly 50 years in the business allows us to create exceptional quality pieces. Although these pieces are very durable, you need to take care of them and be gentle about them. We recommend asking one of our MJ team member to help you find the perfect piece that fits your daily activities. Choosing a piece of jewellery that is appropriate for your lifestyle is the key for its longevity.
CARE OF YOUR JEWELLERY
We recommend to bring in your jewellery in our shop at least once a year or so to get it check and make sure all the stones are still held in place. As gold and any metal wear down over time, they need to be checked to make sure it is still strong enough to hold your gemstones. Most of our jewellery requires very little care as hand-forged jewellery is very strong. We do recommend taking them off your when gardening, going to the gym, swimming and moving heavy objects.
HOW TO CLEAN MY JEWELLERY?
You can come by in our shop and we will give your jewellery a nice clean. Otherwise, you can also clean your Diamond, Sapphires, Emeralds, Tourmaline, Amethyst, and Garnets jewellery at home:- Put your jewellery in some Mr. Clean solution and warm-hot water in a bowl.
- Take out the jewellery and lightly scrub with an old soft-bristle toothbrush.
- Rinse your jewellery under water & dry with a towel or cloth.
DO NOT CLEAN ANY POROUS OR ORGANIC JEWELLERY (such as pearls, turquoise, opals, amber, etc…).
OUR LIFETIME WARRANTY
At MJ Jewellers, we offer a lifetime warranty on our jewellery purchased online or in our shop against defects due to faulty workmanship or materials, excluding any wear and tear and/or negligence. For now, this warranty is offered for customers based in Canada and the USA only. We apologize for not being able to extend this warranty to our international customers. We will do our best to offer this at some point in the future. Lifetime warranty does not cover the natural wear and tear of your jewellery and/or negligence, nor any accidents they may suffer. Any MJ Jewellers jewellery repaired or modified in another workshop cannot be covered by our warranty.
REPAIR POLICY
If you experience any issues with your purchase, please contact us at support@mjjewellers.ca or (604) 736 6016. We will do our best to assist you accordingly to the situation encountered. If you are not able to come to our shop for us to look at your piece, you can send us your repair. Please make sure to package the items securely in their original packaging. Repair shipping charges must be prepaid and insured by the customer. The customer must accept the risk of loss or damage during the shipment. For any additional information on how to ship your item back to us please contact us at support@mjjewellers.ca. We apologize for not being able to accept repairs from our international customers. We will do our best to offer this at some point in the future.
